Maid RPG – Charles Bronson Day

Back on July 4th, the Drunk and Ugly sat down to play the Maid RPG, run by Sean. This is what resulted. (Also Matt had a few beers.)  After a completely boring character generation, the guys set out to have some normal adventures in a completely bland setting.

Well. In a less-insane world, that would be the case. But this is Maid RPG. And this, dear listeners, this truly is madness.  Hop along for the ride as the Drunk and Ugly celebrate the greatest of all American holidays in the only way they know how.

Sordid Dystopia – The Taxman Cometh

Today we have something very special for you, listeners, the first playtest session of Nate’s original system and setting Sordid Dystopia!

We begin in the small, seemingly normal town of Essenvie, with the King’s tax man en route for the first time in years.

In this town, the resident’s greatest enemy is “The Man Up in the Tax Man’s Cart,” and there is a great deal of this. This session, in addition to its entertainment factor, is a pristine example for you GMs on how players can succeed in derailing plots, and how to compensate.

Mrs Frieda’s Halfway Home Session 11 – Chaos

Last time on Mrs. Frieda’s, things started bad and got much, much worse. The long-awaited showdown with the MIB ended with the Eldritch horror in tatters, bullets inside Manny, and a mini-nuclear bomb going off deep in the ghetto of Troy.

On the plus side, Emma’s been rescued and Nele received medical attention. As the action recommences, the whole city is enraptured by the mushroom cloud hanging over the city.

Now, it’s up to George and crew to try and race into the fray and save their friends. Can the kids find each other in the midst of a city falling to pieces?

Road Trip Session 7 – Sucrose Park (Part 3)

On the park surface, Daniel, Prince Bos, and Everette have reunited and start to make a game plan to attack the heart of Sucrose Park and attempt to find / free their friends.  After a veritable gauntlet of challenges, they run into an old friend much sooner than they expected.

Meanwhile, in the secret level, Charlie is released from the Coolrat Funtime Chillout Zone (TM) and is escorted along with Talia and Max to see Coolrat’s DAILY FUNTIME COOLSHOW!  Forced enjoyment is had by all.

But first, Buttz the Battlefrog finally awakens in a mysterious cell and no idea where he is.  Only a piercing and somewhat radical voice comes over the crude loudspeaker in his cell, and a familiar figure appears on the screen.
