In the REALM OF LIGHT AND SHADOW, a universe that is just next door to our own, a great conflict is overflowing. The GREAT EMPEROR GUNCAT, beloved ruler of all the land, has been stricken by a curse.

His GREAT MEOW has been stolen by the insidious forces of the FELINE SHADOW, a terrible and evil creature who has ripped open the door between universes, and will stop at nothing to destroy everything he can touch.

The GREAT EMPEROR GUNCAT has called together a force of ULTIMATE WARRIORS from beyond his own realm to save his kingdom.

Their skills are DIVERSE. Their motivations, STRANGE. Their dispensations, WACKY AT BEST.

Their methods:

Completely Bull$#!@.

Dawn is breaking, and Gene and Nicky have survived the night. They fought off a strange monster who appeared to be made of hamburger, and began uncovering the keys to the secrets of the manor. The keys correspond to several of the locked doors.

Now Gene and Nicky have to investigate as much as possible while the sun is still shining. Because when night falls, the orphanage is fair game for the monsters who watch it carefully. Can the children survive the night?

This session unfortunately ends suddenly due to recording corruption. This is addressed in the finale. Our apologies.

The Apple Court Easter Egg hunt has turned deadly, and claimed two victims. The victims consumed incredibly enticing chocolate eggs, and were dissolved into dripping black pools of chocolate.

Someone has planted these eggs, deliberately dooming whoever eats them to a horrific death. It’s up to the Apple Court kids to track them down and put a stop to it.

Can they find the killer and stop him before more children succumb to the trap?

Welcome to Ellerbe’s Manor for Wayward Children. I’m sure you signed your contract, but did you read the fine print? Oh, don’t worry about the locked doors and the barred windows: they’re there for your protection.

YO INTERNET, WASSUP?!

Look, it’s only been a month since last we posted!  WE CAN DO THIS MONTHLY POSTING THING!  Also thanks to Sean for our shiny intro!

First off, we recently finished Monster ISS, we’re going to post a short Little Fears interlude by Charlie, followed by Prominence, SC, a street-level Batman-inspired Wild Talents campaign.

Secondly, your voice was heard last month, leading to The Devil’s Bazaar being posted.  There is a new poll up with NEW OPTIONS!  SIGN UP AND VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE!

  • SkyMaul – Run by Matt.  This is a 99 cent module written by Shane Ivey. It involves antics on a plane.
  • The Longest Night of Your Life – Run by Sam.  This is part three of the campfire tales. Children try to go to sleep and find they are unable to. Horror ensues.
  • Crossover Megamix! – Run by Sam.  This is a Complete Bull$#!@ game that was originally going to be run in Rifts. Every character from every game we have played thus far shows up at some point in this (I think). It is. . . impressive.
  • Transatlantic – Run by NO ONE.  A Fiasco! game we played with Joshua Chichester at the end of the last Drunk and Ugly Con.
  • Ichor Falls: Prelude – Run by Sam.  A Little Fears adventure set in 1986, based on Kris Straub’s Ichor Falls.

Our topic for today:  Long-form game design.  How do you write campaigns or mini-campaigns?  Hell, I don’t know, but this is a clear approximation of everything.
