Mrs. Frieda’s Halfway Home Session 2 – Let’s Go to the Movies!

It’s Sunday at the Halfway House, and that means two things:

  1. Some boring missionaries from the LDS Church are going to come and give a short service
  2. The rest of the day is fairly open to whatever you want to do  (LAZY SUNDAY!)

The missionaries at the Troy Ward have just switched out recently, and the new guy appears to be vastly different from the previous ones.  That doesn’t mean that the kids are going to treat him any differently, though.

Following a very unusual service, the kids decide what to do with their day.  It turns out that Emma just heard about a new movie coming out, and she’s gotta see it now.

Here’s the first episode with Odyn! He is radically different here than how he is in the rest of the series mostly because I had no idea what I was doing.

It’s all good, Sam! He becomes utterly wonderful in later episodes!

Exactly how big is Frieda supposed to be?!? Sometimes I imagine a Godzilla-esk woman just ready to crush the town.

We’ve mused briefly on defining what Frieda looks like. I prefer her to be like Maris from Frasier: We allude to her size and appearance in somewhat vague terms, but what she actually looks like is up to the listener.

And yes, perhaps the earth quaking beneath Frieda’s feet was a bit much, but it brought the lulz.

This is an intrestring story. I really like the characters and the way you play them. I might just have to draw Manny(my fav right now).
