It’s that time of year again (probably). When it starts getting cold, that’s when every goblin that remembers celebrates Goblin Day, a time to eat and relax and reflect on… where did we come from again?

The party lives in Mauler, a former human shopping mall where the goblins have settled inside various stores as their homes. It’s large and sturdy for what goblins are used to (compared to huts and rubble), so life has been pretty cushy here.

Travel the world encountering imprisoned princesses, powerful efreets, evil viziers, and marvels such as the Magnetic Mountain and the Cave of Wonders. Encounter a new creature or place every turn, but know that the choices you make will shape the rest of your travels. You might stumble upon hidden treasure and become wealthy beyond your imagination, or you could become accursed with your fate placed in the hands of another player! With an entire deck of encounter cards and the massive Book of Tales shaping how each encounter plays out, no two stories will be the same.

The military controlled enclave is home to the First Bank of the Loss, started as an effort for small-time loan sharks to cut their leg breaking overhead. Lenders from Trabajo, Cheyenne, and Middle Distance created a network of standards and shared biometric-based background checks to cut down on fleeing borrowers. The Bank continues to grow, including into some slave-economy enclaves where delinquent borrowers can work off their debt. Recently, the bank has shifted focus towards improving their day-to-day operating standards, and need a Taker crew to retrieve a laminating machine from an abandoned DMV office.  The Telluride Funeral Services company has been called to retrieve that printer.  Just another day at the office.

It’s a Friday night for Anthony Redhorn, Doug Price, and Alpha Torres.  In their circle, that means it’s time to pop up some fresh hot corn and pop an awful film into the DVD player.  Tonight’s movie is something Anthony special ordered from the web a few weeks back: Nightlight Harbor, A low budget kids show from the early eighties involving pirates.  Playing the disc, there appear to be numerous issues with the playback quality, but surely that comes with the territory of bootleg discs.

Adapted from one of the later sessions of our Road Trip campaign, this scenario has been changed into a standalone for con games, and was tested at this Gen Con on some genre savvy players.
