Mrs. Frieda’s Session 70 – The Quest for the Condor

chichenitzabanner

George is having a bad week. Almost all of his friends hate him (for good reason), his home is gone, and his best friend is a Mayan god who has gone missing.

There is exactly one lead to follow: Chichen Itza. It’s up to George, Caleb, and Etsu to travel there and track down Condor. The road to Chichen Itza, however, stretches out into the dark, and it is stained with the blood of history.

Please note: this game was played live, and as such, is not up to our best sound quality! Our apologies.

  1. HA. The second I heard that the new home was in the nice part of town, I KNEW it was Blackbook. Kids be in deep shit.

Great session. George has quite a history.

  2. Well, after 3 or so weeks I’ve finally listened to all 200 some hours of Mrs. Frieda’s, and I can honestly say I enjoyed every moment of it. I love all of you guys, and your characters (especially Manda and Manny, but don’t tell the others you’re my favorite). I love the the emotional roller coasters, the character driven drama, the wacky antics, I just love everything about this campaign and I eagerly await it’s next season.
Now that I’ve gotten out all of my gooey feelings, I do have a few questions. Firstly, are there more up to date character sheets floating around somewhere? The wiki is lovely, but it kind of tapers off. Secondly, is there some sort of archive of Frieda’s text RPs? I know there’s at least one that was mentioned (George and Etsu’s shopping trip) without there being a link to it, and I have a feeling there are more out there.
Anyways, keep being excellent y’all. I have some more of your campaigns that I need to listen to.

Glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the show so far!

As for up-to-date character sheets. . . we’ve completed the campaign now so those could probably be posted. I just haven’t updated the Wiki in a while. There are a handful of Text RPs out there as well. I’ll leave it to the players involved if they want to post them. Most of them happen in Skype and then later get copied over to Google Drive through creative use of regexes and other things.

The show should be picking up again on the 21st with the final arc.
