Returned from their throughly bee-zare journey to Atlanta, the wastelanders set to work uncovering more secrets of Kismet Park. One of the infamous Vault-Tec vaults lies beneath the park, and the treasures that lie beneath defy imagining…and common sense.

PLAYERS

  • Zach – Alexandra “Alex” Raine.  A former dweller of Vault 101, raised by robots and unsure whether or not she is a robot herself.  She is learning much about the outside world and what it means to be human.
  • Nate – Vespara “Vespa” Kalin Adimik. Otherwise known as “The Exile” or “The Lady in Black.” A very capable gunfighter with a shady past.
  • Matt – Chris Yao.  A member of a splinter faction of the Followers of the Apocalypse, divided and traveling with this rag-tag band in search of a new home in the wastes.
  • Josh – LANCE-O 107.  A robotic knight from a medieval-themed restaurant and tournament who now rights wrongs across the wastes while on his quest to slay the black king Mordred.

  1. You know, after coming back from DragonCon can I just say this was perfect?

  2. The pungeon master strikes again! Muahahahaaa…
Heartwarming story, though. Action, strangeness, cute factor… even (some of) the puns, contributed to a persistent smile on my face for the whole episode!

Slowly working to build a harmonious human-robot-ghoul-other humans-giant bee-other robots-super mutant-yet other humans society! I like the way all the different factions interact with the party in different ways, and the great lengths the players go to to turn them into assets.

Hmm, in the ‘friendly’ or ‘park dweller’ column, there is the frog kingdom (are they friendly? I don’t remember…), Kay-Vee, the maintenance class, the bee colony, and the Y-17 Trauma Override Harnesses.
In the ‘nighbours’ column, there are the ghouls (the current ‘antagonist’ faction, which the party seem to be trying to make peace with and eventually hope to recruit), the Cubans (who seem fairly friendly), and possibly some Brotherhood elements in the area?

I can see this tale being passed down as the founding of a great (if VERY weird) city in the wasteland…
Time will tell how these stories interact!

Can the people of Kay-Vee adapt to life outside the physical and metaphorical safety of their vault and stories?
Will the vault maintenance people scatter to the winds, integrate into the other factions to provide much-needed engineering skill, or become a cybernetic ruling class or object of worship from the Kay-Vee people?
How will the frog kingdom react to two hundred strange people inexperienced in the ways of the world ‘stealing’ their gimmick?
Will the ghouls ever come to an understanding with the people of Kismet park?
How terraformed will the land end up? How will the architecture of the park be restored and modified to adapt to the people living within it?
What about the bees? BUZZ BUZZ!
How will the larger, more organized factions (Cubans, Brotherhood) feel about an upstart faction constructing a fortress-city almost overnight with a robot army and a population of domesticated giant killer bees?
Will a vaccine or cure be rediscovered for the doomsday flu?
Will somebody ever tell the computer what sound effect is appropriate for giant-robot-suplexing?

    Eagerly listening for more!

    1. Glad you’re having fun with it! I’m not actually sure how many of your questions get answered, but I’m all too happy to replace them with more questions in future episodes!
