Before We Get Started: This episode contains Mature Content and should be listened to with care.
Pottsville has strange traditions; effigies must be burned, rituals conducted. The unnatural is close enough to touch. And who’s to say how far things have gone into the darkness when murder comes into play…
PLAYERS
- Max – Holly: A popular girl who’s going through some life changes. Who knew blood was so hard to get?
- Zach – Romaine: The only daughter of an established town family, trying to pick through the fragmented pieces of her former life.
- Travis – Rix: An unstoppable, relentless force of nature. He just wants to have fun, though many would disagree on his definition of it.
- Hannah – Hrothgar: A painfully normal, crushingly mundane guy. Just trying to be a normal teenager in a town where that’s becoming increasingly difficult.
- Manda – Wren: The new girl in town. Everyone knows she’s something of a snoop, but no one’s pieced together that she lashes out at those who displease her with magic.
- Nate – Marcus: He knows his town’s dark secret – it’s what got his family murdered. Though apparently, for him, it didn’t stick – thanks to timely intervention from a new friend.

Uhh… is it me or is the mp3 of the game itself missing?
Yes you are correct about that. For some reason the audio file link I added to the post never stuck and it went up without content. That is fixed now.
Appreciate the warning but curious what this particular session had that made it stand out for such a warning? Not a criticism, just curious.
The scene where Marcus chokes out Maria and drags her off is sort of intense and we wanted to make sure people understood that there were some very dark moments in this game before they listened.
Makes sense. Looking forward to more!
I’m curious about something: Throughout the making of the Monsterhearts recordings, did anyone ever call Hrothgar’s means of transport the Hroth-Car?
God, I hope so.
That Fight Club reference was just…just perfect.
Damn, I love Rix. The whole cast is amazing, but holy shit, Rix sells this.
